"Opportunity"

Definition of "opportunity": a set of circumstances that makes it possible to do something.  To me opportunity is someone giving someone else a chance to shine and/or bring their dreams to life!  I was watching Oprah Super Soul Sunday and a young African American male was being highlighted due to taking pictures of the riots in his hometown, Baltimore after a young African American male got shot by police.  The young man was in the right place at the right time and shot a picture that landed on the front cover of Time Magazine.  He chose photography as a way to get out of the streets.  This was his blessing and "opportunity".  Opportunity gives people validation and confirmation that they are serving in their purpose.  That is a good feeling to have!  I was given an "opportunity" by Stephanie the manager at Good Samaritan Hospital.  Stephanie validated and confirmed my purpose to create and design my Inspirational Writing Journal, Peace & Love through Self-Awareness.  I thank her from the bottom of my heart!  I thank Sonia Jackson Myles for her Dreamwalking Program and vision to create my journal.  I thank my Big Brother, Daryl, for believing in my journal and speaking with Stephanie to get my journal placed at the hospital.  I thank my graphic designer, Jennifer, at Daubenmire's Printing Company who listened to me and my ideas and added a few of her own to create my journal.  I thank God the most of all for getting me to this point in my life and showing me my purpose and why I went through my trauma.  Remember to give others "Opportunity"
